Just bare with the cold days. It will be over before you know it
As you must know, I go around and take a lot of pictures in and around Boston and the MBTA. Two days ago I was private messaged from one of my IG friends about a pic he took and how one of the employees there had told him no photography. This has been an increasing issue with me because you are in fact allowed to take pictures any where you like on public property (within reason). I get told all the time that I am not allowed to take pictures in public places by public officials who should know better.
The next day I went to the same station my friend was yelled at and the same thing happened to me. I decided to stand up against the worker and had the photo policy in hand but they refused to even look at it. I reported this employee right away.
To make a long story short, all I want to say is to stand up for your rights people. Even if an authority figure tells you something, they can be wrong. I hate seeing people afraid to do things they are passionate about because of other ignorant people. Don’t let anyone boss you around for doing something you love. Make those beautiful photos without fear!
